Board-grade SaaS metrics, computed inside NetSuite

Tell us what you're paying

An ARR bridge, retention and cohorts built from your own contract data and reconciled to the general ledger — without Advanced Billing. Ask and we will walk you through the SaaS metrics deck.

The Metrics Gap

NetSuite holds the contract and the billing data. For most companies the metrics still get built somewhere else — FP&A exports saved searches, rebuilds the ARR bridge by hand each month, and reconciles to the ledger afterwards if at all.

The native answer needs a particular stack. Oracle's subscription metrics require Advanced Billing to be enabled, and OneWorld on 2025.2 or later. A company billing through a third-party subscription platform — or through plain sales orders and invoices — is not served by it.

Definitions are rigid where they most need to flex. In the native SuiteApp only the CAC formula can be edited by a user, while what counts as ARR, how reactivation is windowed, and how one-time fees and currency are treated differ from board to board.

And the numbers do not tie out. Investors and auditors increasingly expect the ARR bridge to reconcile to billings and to the deferred revenue roll-forward. A bridge built outside the ledger has to be reconciled to it by hand, every month, forever.

What's in the scope

  • A monthly MRR and ARR snapshot per customer and per contract line
  • A contract source adapter that builds recurring lines from sales orders, invoices, revenue arrangements or a custom contract record — no Advanced Billing required
  • The ARR bridge: opening, plus new, expansion and reactivation, less contraction and churn, to closing — by month, quarter and year
  • Net and gross revenue retention, logo churn and customer counts on a trailing twelve months
  • A cohort retention heatmap by start month, on revenue and on logos
  • GL tie-out: ARR movements reconciled to billings and the deferred revenue roll-forward, with variances flagged
  • Configurable definitions — ARR inclusion by item, reactivation window, one-time and usage exclusions, contract versus billing basis
  • Drill-down from any figure in the bridge to the customers and contract lines behind it, with the reason each was classified as it was
  • Historical backfill by CSV, so the first board pack has two to three years of trend
  • Multi-currency and constant-currency ARR, with the currency effect split out in the bridge
  • Slicing by subsidiary, department, class, location and product line

Who it's for, and what it doesn't do

Who this is for

CFOs and FP&A leads at NetSuite SaaS companies who need a board pack that ties to the ledger. Controllers billing outside SuiteBilling. Finance teams paying for a second system that has quietly become a second source of truth.

Unit economics come later

CAC, LTV, payback and Magic Number are Phase 2, alongside manual reclassification with approval, a renewal and contracted-ARR forecast, and a one-click board pack export.

No consumption-billing normalisation

We do not normalise usage-based billing into a run-rate ARR figure.

Built to run inside NetSuite

There is no scheduled export to a data warehouse or BI tool. This runs where the ledger is rather than feeding something beside it.

No pipeline, and no commentary

CRM pipeline is not blended into the forecast, and we do not write the commentary on what moved.

How to start the conversation

Tell us how you bill today, roughly how many active contracts you carry, and what your board pack has to show. If you already have an ARR bridge, send it and we will tell you what it would take to tie it to the ledger.

Start with your number

Send us the line item you want to replace: the vendor, the annual number and what it is priced on. We will tell you plainly whether we can replace it, and quote it in two lines: the license, and any services you choose to add.
